Chelsea have confirmed that Eden Hazard is a ‘major doubt’ for Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.
Diego Simeone’s men host the Premier League outfit in the first leg of their European Cup semi-final next week.
But the club’s assistant manager Steve Holland has revealed that the Belgium international could miss the trip with a calf injury.
“Hazard is not definitely out for Tuesday but he hasn't trained with the squad yet which means he's a major doubt,” he told reporters.
The former Lille man limped out of the Blues’ quarter-final second leg against Paris Saint-Germain two weeks ago, and hasn't played since.
