Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti has called for his side to show courage and personality in the Copa Del Rey Final with Barcelona.
Los Blancos will be without talisman Cristiano Ronaldo but the Italian tactician has every faith in the rest of his players to step up to the task.
“To win this Final we will need to show courage and personality,” Ancelotti said at a Press conference.
“I have decided what the team will be but I won’t say it!
“I knew this morning that Cristiano wouldn’t play but I have confidence in the team, who always react well when up against it.
“We are losing a player with incredible quality, but his loss has provided motivation and has made us run more and play more as a unit.
“We never go onto the pitch solely to try to stop the other team. We always try to win playing our way.
“We have been playing in a certain way for a year now and we intend to continue to do the same.
“In the Clasico at the Bernabeu we played well, we were going to win but later we made small errors.
“We must stay concentrated for the whole match.
“Barcelona attacked well and they are good in control of the ball, including in their most recent matches.
“We must do the same and establish control by being effective in possession. To do this we need courage and personality, the most important things you need to play in a Final.
“Of course we are obliged to win when we reach a Final. We want to be the best.”
