Real Madrid are no nearer to knowing how long Cristiano Ronaldo will be out for following a knee injury.
The Portugal international missed Los Blancos’ 4-0 win over Real Sociedad at the weekend, before being called into their squad for the Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.
However, after leaving training early on Monday, the Ballon d’Or winner remained on the bench for the entire 90 minutes, and watched as his side lost 2-0 to the German outfit.
After the game though, the record-breaking forward insisted that “we have to be patient”.
Carlo Ancelotti will want his star man ready soon though, as the capital club look towards a Champions League semi-final, a League run-in and the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona next Wednesday.
Real Madrid face Almeria this weekend, but Ronaldo is expected to miss, or only briefly feature, in the match.
