‘Dortmund have a small chance’

Robert Lewandowski has conceded that Borussia Dortmund only have ‘a small chance’ against Real Madrid tonight.

The Bundesliga outfit go into this evening’s Champions League quarter-final second leg looking to overturn a 3-0 deficit.

But the Polish forward is quietly confident that his men can cause a major shock.

“We only have a small chance of going through,” he told a Press conference.

“We can't compare this year with last year. We can't expect to put four goals past Real again.

“We're going to play at full pelt with our fans' support.

“I watched [the first leg] at home and it was hard for me. I couldn't relax on the sofa. I hope it's the last time I ever miss a game as important as that one.

“I think this team is different to last season's, plus it's a different tie. The first leg was in Dortmund last year, this year the return is here.

“We're a good team and we have good players. We're dangerous for any team. We're going to assert ourselves on the game and, despite our injuries, we're playing well.”
