Chelsea and Monaco will fight for Diego Costa’s signature in the summer, according to reports in the British Press.
The Sunday Express claim that the Premier League outfit will go in for the Atletico Madrid forward at the end of the season, as they look to end their striking woes.
Fernando Torres, Samuel Eto’o and Demba Ba are all said to be on their way out of Stamford Bridge, and Jose Mourinho has set his sights of the Roja goalscorer – and have set aside £35m to try and get him.
The Mail on Sunday however, believe that they will face competition from the French team.
With Radamel Falcao currently injured and consistently linked with a switch away from the Riviera, the paper reports that Costa could be the man to try and fire them to Ligue 1 glory next term.
