Celta Vigo Coach Luis Enrique has spoken warmly about Rayo Vallecano, his side’s opponents on Saturday.
Rayo host Celta at Vallecas and Enrique told a pre-match Press conference that Paco Jemez’s team is one he particularly enjoys watching.
“It’s a team that I love, or like very much, because they are brave and always go for the win,” Enrique said.
“They’re a club I have great sympathy for, but for us the game is a chance to go six points clear of a direct rival.”
Enrique added that he is viewing the final seven games of the season as a series of finals, with Rayo the first of them.
“I hope we win against a team that beat us in the first round. They were at a higher level than we expected,” Enrique went on.
“We continue with the mentality of going game by game and thinking about the importance of picking up points against every team, but with special attention on rivals, and Rayo are clearly one of them.”
