Line-ups: Madrid-Dortmund

Carlo Ancelotti has named Isco in the Real Madrid XI to play Borussia Dortmund after Angel Di Maria was ruled out.

The Argentine dropped out of the squad this afternoon due to illness and the Coach has picked Isco rather than Asier Illaramendi as his replacement.

Iker Casillas returns in goal in place of Diego Lopez with Dani Carvajal at right-back, Pepe and Sergio Ramos in the centre and Fabio Coentrao at left-back, with Marcelo absent due to a hamstring problem.

Xabi Alonso and Luka Modric join Isco in midfield with all three members of the BBC – Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo – in attack.

Dortmund are without the majority of the side that beat Madrid in last year’s Champions League semi-final through a combination of sales, suspension and injury.

But Coach Jurgen Klopp can field on-loan Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin as part of his starting line-up.

Klopp is also able to call on Roman Weidenfeller in goal while his back four is made up of Lukas Pisczcek, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Mats Hummels and Erik Durm.

Sahin is joined in midfield by Sebastian Kehl with the more attacking trio of Marco Reus, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Kevin Grosskreutz. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to lead the line.

Madrid: Casillas, Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao; Alonso, Modric, Isco; Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo

Dortmund: Weidenfeller, Pisczcek, Sokratis, Hummels, Durm; Sahin, Kehl; Reus, Mkhitaryan, Grosskreutz; Aubameyang
