‘Dortmund ready for Madrid’

Marco Reus has said Borussia Dortmund are approaching their Champions League against Real Madrid with confidence.

The midfielder was speaking after Dortmund came from 2-0 down to beat Stuttgart 3-2 and according to Mundo Deportivo, Reus pointed to the come-from-behind win as why BVB are ready for Los Blancos.

“The game has shown us that we can go into the game with tremendous confidence. We are ready to go to Madrid,” Reus said.

His teammate Mats Hummels added that Dortmund have a clear game plan for how to deal with Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

“We’ll play very compact and look for the quick counter-attack,” the defender revealed.

“Our goal is to achieve a good result in the first-leg.”

Dortmund Coach Jurgen Klopp has, meanwhile, named Madrid as the favourites for the game.
