Malaga Coach Bernd Schuster isn’t expecting an easy time against Real Betis on Monday.
The German told reporters at a pre-match Press conference that Betis’ place at the bottom of La Liga makes the game more difficult, not less.
“We know it’ll be a tough match with the bottom club,” Schuster said.
“Many things have gone against them this year but they have a crowd that never gives in.
“We still hope to catch the teams above us. There are a lot of points left.
“It’s important we start the game well. We want to show our teeth, have pressure in attack and be good in defence.
“We want to control Betis, otherwise their fans will really get behind them.
“We have to be focused. It’s going to be a good game and we have to take risks.
“It’s terrible that we’re near the bottom. We have to get higher and we trust ourselves to do it.”
