Brazilian ex-footballer Romario has today advised compatriot Neymar to leave his problems behind him when on the pitch.
The 22-year-old has come under the media spotlight recently for his enormous wages and has struggled to produce his best form at Camp Nou.
However, the former Barcelona and PSV man said Neymar should be learning and following the example of players such as Lionel Messi.
“Every player has good and bad periods,” Romario said on his official Twitter account. “The advice I would give him is to show a good attitude and leave his problems off the pitch.
“He is playing alongside one of the best players in the world and he can learn from him.
“I was the Messi of my day and players used to like learning from me!”
