Ancelotti: Clasico always important

Carlo Ancelotti believes that there is as much pressure on Barcelona in the Clasico as there is on Real Madrid.

Los Blancos are currently four points ahead of their Catalan rivals going into tomorrow’s match at Santiago Bernabeu.

But the Italian tactician has insisted that both sides go into the game baring the same burden.

“The Clásico is always an important game and you always have the same pressure. There’s as much pressure on us as there is on Barça,” he told a Press conference.

“Our idea is to play a game in which we can show our best qualities.

“We are really up for this game and we’re going to try to do what we’ve done in previous games."

“We’re not thinking about drawing, because we have the slight advantage of playing at home. We’re going to do everything we can to win.”

The former Chelsea boss then commented on the fitness of his squad.

“The whole squad is in good shape. We’ve had a small problem with Isco, who arrived with cold symptoms but trained later on. The whole squad is okay for tomorrow.”
