Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale says he is enjoying his football at the moment and feels he is in his best form of the season.
The world record signing played a key role in Los Blancos’ 3-1 win over Schalke this week and is now looking forward to this weekend’s Clasico.
"My confidence is growing with every game, I feel really good,” Bale is quoted as saying by Marca today.
“I feel great and am enjoying my football.
"But every game is important now, we're heading into the business end of the season.
"We're playing well, we’re full of confidence and we are on a good run of form. We have to prepare well for the upcoming game against Barcelona.
“They are a direct rival and we hope to beat them.
“We're going to do our best to put in a good performance and take all three points.
“They have some great players but we're focused on playing our game and our team because we have some great players too."
