Real Betis Coach Gabriel Calderon has said the team still believe they can avoid relegation from La Liga this season.
Betis beat Getafe 2-0 on Saturday but remain bottom of the table, eight points adrift of safety.
Calderon however told his post-match Press conference that the Europa League win over Rubin Kazan has been a boon to his side, and they haven’t given up the fight yet.
“The dynamic has changed,” he told reporters.
“Since beating Rubin Kazan we’re improving. We’re still lacking a lot but the feelings are good. We have to keep working hard and improving.
“We’re taking it a game at a time. Next we play Sevilla [in the Europa League] and then we’ll start thinking about Sunday’s game.
“While it’s still mathematically possible we can stay up, we’ll keep believing.”
