Granada Coach Lucas Alcaraz has praised his side following the 2-0 win over Villarreal on Saturday.
The victory puts Granada four points clear of the bottom three with 11 games left to play this season.
“All 38 games are difficult in this League,” Alcaraz told his post-match Press conference.
“My team has shown a great deal of determination, desire and intensity.
“We played in the spaces we wanted throughout the game. We wanted to be the more attacking team and we were.
“We’re closer to our objective. We need to keep that mentality in a League that can produce all kinds of results.”
Alcaraz added that he was most pleased by the unity Granada have shown despite being plagued by injuries.
“We have to send the message that we’re together at a difficult time and with so many injuries. The team is united.”
