Jeremy Menez has emerged as a transfer target for Atletico Madrid this summer with the France international forward available for free.
Menez’s Paris Saint-Germain contract expires at the end of the season and he has indicated he will leave the capital club, having struggled to hold down a place in the side under Laurent Blanc, AS reports.
He has played only 11 League games this season, starting six of them, and made only a handful of appearances in other competitions.
Menez, formerly of Roma, cost PSG €15m in 2011, having started his career at Sochaux before moving on to Monaco.
The 26-year-old is considered a replacement for Cristian Rodriguez, who it is thought wants to leave Vicente Calderon for similar reasons Menez is to depart PSG.
