Germany Coach Joachim Low is optimistic Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira will be fit for this summer’s World Cup.
Khedira hasn’t played since suffering a serious knee injury while on international duty in November but Low’s positivity is based on Khedira’s confidence.
“Khedira radiates ambition when I talk to him,” AS reports Low as telling German publication Sport Bild.
“I’m hopeful he’ll take part in the World Cup.
“Right now he’s in incredible physical condition. His knee is free from discomfort and is resilient.
“We’re obviously going to do everything we can to win the tournament.”
