Carlo Ancelotti admitted that Real Madrid could have played better despite beating Elche 3-0 this afternoon.
Los Blancos beat Fran Escriba’s men thanks to goals from Asier Illarramendi, Gareth Bale and Isco.
The Coach though, thought his side could have done better, but was pleased with their efforts.
“I'm satisfied because we demonstrated that we are solid. We could have played better but I'm happy,” he told reporters.
“Nobody was happy that Ronaldo couldn't play. It wasn't normal that he was suspended for three matches.
“We played well and won without him though, but I still can't understand why he got suspended.
“Bale's performance was good before the goal and brilliant after it.”
