Kaka ready for Atletico

Milan forward Kaka believes his team are ready for the challenge posed by Atletico Madrid.

The sides meet in the Champions League tonight and the Brazil international, who spent four years at Real Madrid, believes Milan are going into the game in good form.

“After our victory last Friday (over Bologna), the team is confident and ready for the Champions League game,” he told Marca.

“We're going to give it everything we've got in this competition.”

Kaka returned to Milan last summer and added he always thought he’d find his way back to San Siro.

He also shared his respect for Atletico and the players within Diego Simeone’s squad.

“I like many players at Atletico. Some of them are also my friends.

“[David] Villa, for example, is a great player.”

Milan are now Coached by Clarence Seedorf, a teammate of Kaka in his first spell with the Rossoneri.

“It's the first time that I have an ex-teammate as my manager.

“I'm very happy with the situation and think that Seedorf is doing a great job.”
