Manchester City captain Vicent Kompany has insisted that Barcelona were by no means superior to his men.
The Blaugrana beat the Citizens 2-0 in the Champions League this evening, but with Manuel Pellegrini’s men down to 10 on 60 minutes, the Belgian centre-back believes it was tough on his team.
“0-2’s very tough on us,” he told ITV. “By no means did we feel they were superior to us.
“I think they were there for the taking.
“Are they the best team we’ve faced? Not at all.
“They’re incredibly efficient though. They have a lot of individual quality.”
