Juan Antonio Pizzi highlighted the ‘character and integrity’ of his Valencia side as they drew 0-0 with Sevilla.
Los Che went down to 10 men on 50 minutes when Ricardo Costa was sent off, and also had an Ivan Rakitic penalty to thank for a share of the points.
“The second half is difficult to analyse,” he told a Press conference. “To play that long without a man down is very difficult.
“They had a lot of the possession and it was clear that at some point they could score a goal.
“We had the character and the integrity to endure though, and withstood their attacks very well.”
