Carlos could take La Liga job

Former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos has revealed he has held talks over taking a Coaching post in Spain next season.

The ex-Brazil international is currently in charge at Turkish side Sivasspor and revealed in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport that he has had two offers for 2014-15, one from China and the other from an unnamed country.

“I have also talked to four or five other teams,” Carlos added.

“In May I’ll tell you where I’m going. Maybe Turkey, or perhaps Spain.”

Carlos also spoke of Clarence Seedorf, his former Madrid teammate now Coach at Milan.

“On the field he was always a leader, wanted to teach everyone everything,” the 40-year-old said.

“Kaka told me he understands players – that I know, I lived with him for a year-and-a-half.”

Carlos spent 11 years at Santiago Bernabeu, making more than 500 appearances and winning La Liga four times, as well as three Champions League trophies.

Carlos also confirmed he still has a Bugatti Veyron sports car in a garage in Madrid, as he is the only one allowed to drive it, some seven years after he left the Spanish capital.
