Luis Enrique has conceded that his Celta Vigo side are in a ‘critical moment’ in the season, as they look to avoid slipping into the relegation places.
The Celestes host Athletic Bilbao this evening, looking for the three points that could take them seven points clear of Real Valladolid in 18th.
And the Coach has called for the fans to get behind their team is this important moment.
“We know that we’re coming up against a team that are full of confidence,” he told a Press conference.
“We have to be on it from the beginning and try to pressure them as soon as the whistle goes.
“If they have a prolonged period of possession, they will hurt us – so we can’t let that happen.
“It’s going to be very intense for us until the end of the season. They are a lot of teams who have pulled out of the relegation places, only to be sucked back in.
“All I want is for the fans to cheer us on because we’re in a critical moment of the season.”
