New Levante signing Victor Casadesus says that Coach Joaquin Caparros played a major role in his decision to move to the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.
The 28-year-old striker from Mallorca revealed that he had been considering offers from several clubs but that the 58-year-old tactician had been key in swinging the pendulum Levante’s way.
“I was thrilled by Caparros’ call,” Casadesus told journalists at a Press conference to announce his unveiling.
“He made a great case for me to come here. My agent handled most of the negotiations but Caparros convinced him that this was the right move for me.
“As I am very close to my agent I did not doubt him at all.
“The first target here is, as always, to make sure we stay up. After that, we’ll take it one game at a time but when you know you are already safe you play with a lot of freedom.”
