Valencia enter Vucinic race

Valencia are competing with Arsenal to take Mirko Vucinic from Juventus as the transfer window comes to a close.

Los Che have had a frantic few days, letting three players leave, possibly a fourth in Ever Banega, and signing Seydou Keita for the rest of the season.

Marca reports that contact has been made with the Turin club over Vucinic but with the Gunners also keen to take the Montenegro international, Juan Antonio Pizzi may be disappointed.

Juventus are expected to sign Dani Osvaldo from Southampton, which would make them more amenable to letting go of Vucinic, who wants to leave the Old Lady after finding his playing time restricted this season.

Vucinic, formerly of Lecce and Roma, has made only eight appearances in the campaign, scoring twice.
