Joaquin Caparros wants Levante to knuckle down and focus on the League after their Copa del Rey elimination.
Les Granotes were dispatched 5-1 on Wednesday evening by Barcelona for a 9-2 aggregate defeat, and Caparros is now keen for his players to concentrate on preserving their top flight status.
“Reaching the Cup quarter-finals is always nice,” Caparros said at his post-match Press conference.
“After the result in the first game this was always going to be complicated.
“From now on we must focus on the League.”
Levante are currently eighth in the table but only eight points clear of the drop zone. By contrast, they are 15 points adrift of fourth place.
Lukas Vyntra put Levante in front at Camp Nou but Caparros bemoaned his side’s defending as Barca racked up five goals, the home side’s second particularly riling the boss.
“We can’t let them score that second goal. We should have been stronger,” Caparros said.
