Malaga have loaned Nordin Amrabat from Galatasaray and will complete the signing of Ezequiel Rescaldani soon.
Amrabat’s move was finalised late on Wednesday evening when the Morocco international passed a medical.
He will be presented at La Rosaleda on Thursday afternoon, having been given the No.23 shirt, Marca reports.
Speaking to reporters shortly after landing in Malaga, Amrabat said he was excited to join his new club.
“I’m very, very happy to be at Malaga and I hope I can help the team, play and be of use.
“I hope we can achieve our goals for this season.
“My expectations of the club are good. I’ve spoken to the Coach and [Mounir] El Hamdaoui and I know some of the players, so that’s why I’m here.”
The signing of 21-year-old Rescaldani, the Velez Sarsfield forward, is expected to be completed on Thursday.
Neither player takes up a non-EU spot in the Malaga squad as Amrabat has a Dutch passport and Rescaldani an Italian passport.
