Valencia’s general manager Rufete has apparently confirmed that the club have made contact for striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
Southampton’s record signing has been reportedly unsettled ever since arriving on England’s south coast and is currently suspended at the club for disciplinary issues.
Linked with moves back to Italy and Spain this month, Superdeporte today say that he would relish a return to Spain and La Liga, where he previously played for Espanyol.
The Valencian publication also assert that general manager Rufete has confirmed that contact with Saints over Osvaldo has been made.
That said, Los Che are seen as needing to offload players themselves first in order to finance the Italy international’s wage and potential fee.
