Andres Iniesta looks set to return to action in the second leg of Barcelona’s Copa del Rey quarter-final at the Camp Nou on Wednesday evening.
Iniesta, 29, has missed the Catalan giants’ last four games through injury but has recovered enough to be named in Gerardo Martino’s 18-man squad for Wednesday night’s encounter against Levante.
Martino has also taken the opportunity to bring back Carlos Puyol, Martin Montoya and Alex Song, who had all been out with knocks recently.
Xavi, Sergio Busquets and Dani Alves, meanwhile, will be rested ahead of this weekend’s Primera Division clash with Valencia and will watch the game from the stands.
Barca lead the tie 4-1 following their victory at the Estadio Cuidad de Valencia in the first leg last week.
Barcelona squad to face Levante: Valdés, Pinto, Montoya, Piqué, Fàbregas, Puyol, Pedro, Iniesta, Alexis, Messi, Mascherano, Bartra, Song, Jordi Alba, Afellay, Tello, Adriano, Sergi Roberto.
