Eduardo Vargas has arrived in Valencia ahead of his loan move from Napoli, and admits that he wants to ‘contribute a lot’.
The Chile international has struggled in European football since signing for the Partenopei in 2012.
The 24-year-old spent part of last year on loan at Brazilian side Gremio and has failed to make an appearance for the Italian team this term.
However, the forward has insisted that he has joined Los Che to make a difference.
“I hope to contribute a lot and help the team, and if that means scoring goals, so much the better,” he told reporters.
“I know about Valencia's record and the players, though I wasn't able to see the 2-2 draw against Espanyol on Saturday.”
