Enrique worried by Betis change

Luis Enrique has admitted he does not know what to expect from Real Betis under the leadership of Antonio Calderon.

Enrique’s Celta Vigo provide the first opposition for Calderon in Friday evening’s League meeting.

And Enrique told reporters as his pre-match Press conference that he had prepared his side to face Juan Carlos Garrido’s Betis, and was unable to predict what Calderon might do.

“I don’t know if Betis will benefit from the coaching change or not,” Enrique said.

“But I didn’t like that they changed Coach just a week before facing us because we had studied what Garrido was doing there.

“Then comes a new person with new methods and different ideas, and in that sense we lose information.

“Their results in 10 or 15 days will say if the change has been successful or not.

“He’s their third Coach this season and they haven’t demonstrated if they are doing things right or not.”

Celta go into the game eight points better off than bottom-placed Betis but only three points clear of the relegation zone, in 16th place.
