Sami Khedira is expected to be fit for the World Cup, the Germany Coach, Joachim Low, has said.
AS cites an interview Low conducted with Germany publication Bild am Sonntag in which the Coach discussed the fitness of Khedira, who was injured playing for Germany in November.
“If all goes well, Sami’s calendar is full,” Low said.
“I spoke to Sami on the phone three days ago.
“He feels good. He’s training gently on the treadmill.
“He’s not suffered any setbacks.”
Khedira is expected to be part of a 26-man get-together in Munich in the near future.
The 26-year-old suffered a torn cruciate ligament during Germany’s 1-1 draw with Italy.
