Peter Lim will attempt to sign Radamel Falcao this summer if his bid to take ownership of Valencia is successful.
Mundo Deportivo claims the Singaporean businessman will signal his intention of turning Los Che into an equivalent of Manchester City and Chelsea by bringing former Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao back to Spain from Monaco.
Manchester United winger Luis Nani is another player Lim will stump up the money for. Both players are represented by Jorge Mendes, the agent who introduced Lim to current Valencia president Amadeo Salva.
The fate of Lim’s attempt to take over Valencia is to be decided by Bankia on Wednesday. A €50m investment has been promised by Lim this month should the deal be given the go-ahead.
Valencia Coach Juan Antonio Pizzi is known to be in the market for a striker this month and Napoli’s Chilean forward Eduardo Vargas is one possibility, but the report claims Pizzi would prefer Lisandro Lopez instead.
