Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has revealed that he can’t wait to ‘make history’ at the club and beat Barcelona.
The Premier League side face the Blaugrana in the last 16 of the Champions League, and the Argentina international has insisted that his men can beat Tata Martino’s boys.
“It’s going to be a nice match to play in,” he told ESPN. “They are the best team in the world and it’s going to be hard.
“But we have a good squad and I believe that we are their equals.
“Beating Barca would be a major step for us – I hope we can make history for the club.”
Aguero then commented on countryman Lionel Messi.
“We’ve talked about the game,” he said. “Leo’s from another planet and will always be the best player in the world.”
