Real Madrid forward Jese has been declared fit enough to travel as part of the squad to play Espanyol on Sunday.

There had been a doubt over the 20-year-old’s involvement after he suffered a calf injury in the Copa del Rey win over Osasuna, but Jese has travelled as part of the 20-man squad for the game.

It is thought that Jese simply suffered cramp against Osasuna, having scored his first goal at the Santiago Bernabeu in the 2-0 victory.

Jese was given a fitness test prior to being included in the group that travelled to Barcelona and was judged to have passed. He was originally not part of the list of players named by Carlo Ancelotti, Mundo reports.
