Real Sociedad fans have been cheered by the news that Esteban Granero has returned to light training.
The on loan midfielder has been out since September after suffering a cruciate ligament tear, and on the eve of the New Year has finally started running again.
The 26-year-old was pictured on the training ground this morning with physios lightly jogging for the first time since his operation.
Granero is expected to be back playing by April.
