Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Metalist forward Jose Sosa on a six month loan deal.
The Argentine playmaker will join the capital side when the transfer window opens on January 1.
Sosa doesn’t have an EU passport, however Atleti have spare spaces for non-community players. He is also able to play in the Champions League, having not done so with Metalist.
The Argentine player was being closely followed by Malaga and sources suggested he was about to join them, however Atletico managed to obtain his signature in the final sprint.
