Reports in the Spanish Press on Friday claim that Valencia’s first purchase under new owner Peter Lim will be Edin Dezko.
The Singaporean businessman is expected to takeover the Mestalla outfit in January, with a €40m windfall in the transfer window.
As such, Marca have insisted this afternoon that Los Che will go in for the Manchester City striker as their first marquee purchase.
The Bosnian goalscorer has found himself on the substitutes’ bench this season under Manuel Pellegrini, and is expected to leave in January so as to get more first-team football before the World Cup next summer.
Valencia will face competition from Inter for the forward’s signature though.
