Valencia defender Ricardo Costa believes that his compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player on the planet.
The Real Madrid forward has been shortlisted for the Ballon d’Or this year alongside Lionel Messi and Franck RIbery.
But the Che centre-back has insisted it is clear who the number one player in the world is.
“For me, Cristiano is the best,” he told A Bola. “You just have to look at his last game against Valencia.
“That performance left me speechless.
“Hopefully, barring serious injury, Cristiano will be ready to lead us at the World Cup.”
