Villarreal boss Marcelino hit out at the referee after his side lost 2-1 to Sevilla on Saturday afternoon.
Goals from Cala and Carlos Bacca gave the Rojiblancos all three points at El Madrigal, but the Coach was more interested in the referee, who sent him to the stands in the second half.
“You would have to ask him why he sent me off,” Marcelino told a Press conference. “I don’t know why.
“I got a warning for protesting, but I’m not sure why I was sent off.
“We Sevilla would be tough and that they could dominate the game.
“But they scored from a free kick that I didn’t think was a free kick and it got tough for us.
“It’s difficult to take for us.”
