Reports in the Spanish Press have claimed that Barcelona President Sandro Rosell will look to tie Andres Iniesta to a new deal as quickly as possible.
The Blaugrana midfielder is rumoured to be on the verge of penning a contract extension at Camp Nou.
But Mundo Deportivo have claimed that the club’s President will personally sit down and try to accelerate the signing this week.
The Catalan side are desperate to secure the services of Iniesta, and will hope to announce a new contract before the Christmas break.
