Three clubs will fight it out for Victor Valdes’ signature in the summer, according to Press reports this afternoon.
The goalkeeper will leave Barcelona at the end of the season when his contract expires, and Mundo Deportivo insist that a trio of European clubs will line up for the Spain international.
Monaco, who have been favourites to sign Valdes since it was announced that he would leave Camp Nou, will be joined by Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City in the summer.
The English side are currently going through their own shot-stopping woes, with Joe Hart being dropped after a series of mistakes. Whilst many believe Salvatore Sirigu to be PSG’s weak link.
It is the Riviera side who are odds-on to get the 31-year-old though, with Valdes likely to reunite with former teammate Eric Abidal.
