Barcelona duo Dani Alves and Ibrahim Afellay stepped up respective recoveries from injury today by returning to field work at training.
Alves has been out of action for three weeks with a hamstring injury sustained whilst on international duty with Brazil, whilst Afellay hasn’t played since January due to a problematic thigh injury that required surgery in August.
However, the pair are both seen as stepping up their recovery programme and were notable additions to training today with Barcelona, even if both were not working with the main group.
