Raul Garcia has claimed that Atletico Madrid were ‘hungry to win’ despite already heading into the last 16.
The capital club were assured of their place in the Champions League knockout round, but thanks to goals from the Spanish midfielder and Diego Costa, beat Porto anyway this evening to remain unbeaten in the group stage.
“This team is very hungry,” he told reporters after the match at Vicente Calderon. “We want to win every game.
“That is the line we have to keep.
“The whole team is benefiting from every individual in the squad.”
