Real Sociedad boss Jagoba Arrasate declared himself upset after the 1-1 first-leg Copa del Rey draw with minnows Algeciras.
The Andalusian outfit had a 63rd minute equaliser from Alfaro five minutes to thank after Antoine Griezmann had put the Basques ahead, and Arrasate was in no mood for excuses afterwards.
“If we only drew then it was because we didn’t play well,” he fumed at the post-match Press conference.
“We had no control over the game at after they scored and it was nearer to being 2-1 for them than for us.
“Algeciras played at a great level and when you draw with a Segunda B team then it looks as if you lacked intensity, although it wasn’t like that.
“We did a lot of things wrong in attack and didn’t create many clear-cut opportunities, while our final ball was also lacking.
“We are going to have to take things very seriously to get through to the next round,” he asserted.
