Reports in England have reiterated that Thibaut Courtois is still stalling on a Chelsea renewal until he gets first-team assurances.
The Belgian international is midway through a third straight season on loan at Atletico Madrid and has impressed to the extent that Barcelona have been linked with a move next summer.
On from reports earlier this month, the Daily Mirror have echoed that the 21-year-old is keen to realise his possible position at parent club Chelsea before committing to a contract extension the Londoners have recently tabled.
It is alleged that the player is after first-team guarantees in potential competition with Petr Cech and is ‘aware’ of interest from both Barca and Real Madrid.
