Fresh from his goalscorering exploits at the weekend, Carlos Vela was named as the main man in attack for Real Sociedad against Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Mexican netted four against Celta Vigo on Sunday, and was chosen in place of Haris Seferovic to start up front against the Ukrainians.
Ruben Pardo and Xabi Prieto were also named in the XI in midfield, with La Real aware that only a win would be enough to keep them in the Champions League.
At right back meanwhile, Liassine Cadamuro makes his European debut, replacing the injured Carlos Martinez.
