Real Madrid director of football Miguel Pardeza called Cristiano Ronaldo ‘unique’ following the 5-0 win over Almeria.
It has been an incredible week for Ronaldo, his midweek hat-trick for Portugal against Sweden securing his country a place in next year’s World Cup finals, as Pardeza acknowledged to Madrid’s official website.
“Our players have come back from a demanding period that involved a lot of travel, which takes it out of you both physically and mentally, so we have to praise the professionalism of everyone in getting a good result.
“As for Ronaldo he is an extraordinary player who I like to see on the pitch, not off it. There are no words to describe him. Anything you say would not come close to his value both as a player and a professional.
“He is unique and will make his mark in the history of football. I’m just glad he’s playing for us,” said Pardeza.
