Real Madrid fans are set to prove their backing of Cristiano Ronaldo in next Tuesday’s Champions League game with Galatasaray.
No less than 40,000 masks with the Portuguese star’s face on them will be distributed at the Santiago Bernabeu as a token of the fans’ total support for their hero in his attempt to win the Ballon d’Or award in early January.
The campaign is being organised by ‘La Clasica’ and ‘Barajas’ supporters clubs led by their Presidents, Carlos Clara and Juanjo Blazquez, who will be in charge of bringing it to the attention of the world.
In addition, other supporters groups plan to meet with the aim of organising a huge banner that will cover the whole north side of the stadium.
