Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has reiterated his desire to tie himself to the club with a new contract.
The Spain international has so far rejected offers made by the Camp Nou side, but the 29-year-old has claimed that he wants to sign an extension soon, possibly before Christmas.
“It would great news [if I could sign soon],” he told Cuatro.
“My desire, and the club’s desire is what it is.
“If it happens before Christmas, that would be perfect, and if not, then that’s fine.
“I have a singular goal, and I want to continue where I am.”
