Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed that with Cristiano Ronaldo in their side, Portugal are favourites to beat Sweden.
The two face each other in a World Cup play-off match this month, and the Paris Saint-Germain striker has praised his Real Madrid counterpart, whilst also claiming he is happy to stay in the French capital
“Portugal have done very well so far and have a good team,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“They have some great individuals – with Cristiano, of course, they are favourites.
“It’s going to be difficult for us. Qualifying for the World Cup is going to be tough.
“I do not know what’s going to happen in June,” he went on. “I have met with the President and he told me I was the most important part of this PSG project.
“That was nice to hear, and I could not be happier in Paris. We are a great team.
“Actually, we are becoming a great team. You have to win things if you want to be up there with the best.”
